One of the best things about single window treatments is the diversity of options in which you can style the glassware. At a past appointment, I experimented with several different looks for a narrow, arched window:
Option 1 was to dress the window from the very top of the arch with both sheer and plain panels. They would hang simply from rods. My clients thought this design was too plain and basic.
Option 2 was to dress the arch itself with swags, and the narrow rectangular window with dropped side panels. This design was the clear favorite, but unfortunately over the client’s budget.
Option 3 was similar to the first; sheers and plain panels, except the starting point here is below the arch rather than the top. This design is personally my least favorite because it fails to enhance the showstopper of the arch and chops up the openness of the window.
