A Fun Window Treatment!
My client called to have a custom window covering created for an arched window in an office, I
thought, let’s have some fun with it!
She has five dogs; she loves them, and they are considered family members.
The house has black and white with red accents throughout. Since the window is for an office which
doubles as a sitting room, my client wanted to get as much natural light as possible through the arch.
Here’s how we created our design:
- The arch is covered with a pleated sheer (to bring light in).
- Two double bands are placed lengthwise. Fabric-covered buttons were placed along the bands to include the color scheme.
- Under the arch, we installed a curved bottom pleated valance. Creating the valance was the most fun part! If you look at the fabric, you will know why.
We created a fun office, it makes her happy to be working in it, and it is so customized to her style, it
is totally her.
