I had the best experience working with Susan Gailani. I had a very specific idea of what I hoped to achieve with her custom work as well as a tight deadline. She made the project easy and enjoyable. She listened, offered beautiful fabric choices, smart design advice, and used her artistry and skill set to help me achieve my goal. The quality and look of the items ordered are beautiful and of a high quality. She was extremely professional and clearly staying on top of production. In fact, everything was completed before deadline!

It was suggested to me to consider this company to redo my blinds and drapery in my house after getting new windows installed . I contacted Susan and felt a very strong connection with her from the start. Very professional person to work with and a passion for her job that you don’t receive by going to just any store. I met with her to discuss the project and she showed up on time ready to work. I had no idea what I was going to do and needed her guidance in every aspect of the project. Her ideas were great and her vision was something I could definitely feel. When we finally decided on the right course for everything I felt at ease knowing that it was going to be beautiful. Susan works with an installer named Kary who did all the measurements and installation in my home. Very easy going individual and professional in his work habits. You can see he knows what he is doing and why Susan has worked with him for so long. It took a short amount of time for everything to come in and for installation to happen. I will tell you I was a little stressed out because there was so much happening in my house. I had a new furnace and air conditioner put in as well as a new roof put on my house. It felt so good to get my blinds and drapery installed in my house. It made my living space feel so warm and brought back the privacy which I have been missing for quite awhile. Susan was so on point with the choices that we made. They give my house that artistic feel that matches everything that surrounds it. She was very easy to work with, professional and more like family then someone I just hired to do a job. I work in the hospitality industry and know how important it is to take care of your clients. Susan understands this idea fully and goes out of her way to make sure that your fully satisfied. When first considering her company price was an option and she was not the cheapest but after seeing her work and the quality of the products I certainly felt it was worth it. I would highly recommend her and Gailani designs for whatever your needs are. She has put together wonderful videos showing her work that you can review at your leisure.

Susan did a beautiful job with all of our windows! Beautiful window coverings for all front and a few back windows. She is so helpful!!

I saw my neighbors gorgeous window treatments and knew I could rely on Susan to help me figure out what to do with my windows. I wanted well made custom without being formal. I was afraid I couldn’t explain exactly what I meant. Susan is wonderful at listening and has a great eye for scale for the project. She figured out exactly what I wanted. I appreciate her professional advice. Every detail with measurements, hardware, color and fabric is important to her. Susan will keep you on the right track with your project. And, stay in budget. She has everything covered for you. Wonderful communication. Wonderful installers. Susan kept in touch during the whole process, updating me on all timelines. Plus, offered great advice for paint colors and contacts. Just looking at my beautiful new curtains makes me smile. Thank you sooooo much for sharing your gift with me Susan. Susan is so creative, I’m so please with the design she created for my living and dining room windows. She kept us up to date on the progress of the order. Also, she had her painter remove the old hardware that was installed for the draperies we previously had up, as well as arrange for him to patch and paint the holes that were left after the removal at no additional cost. The fabric quality is top-notch, and the draperies flow so gracefully. She is such a pleasure to work with, and I would definitely be using her again for my next project.

If you want someone who will work with you until she is satisfied that your are 100% comfortable with your decisions and design, she is I!! Her personality is infectious and you feel as if you have know her for a very long time. The workmanship and craftsmanship of her designs are impeccable. If your looking for a wonderfully sweet, savvy designer with a great eye for design book her asap. She is always busy so don’t wait too long. I just met her doing the course of her designing my cornices and she has gained a friend for life. I plan to use her for two additional rooms for sure if not more. Susan was a pleasure to work with. On her initial visit I knew I had found the designer to do my drapes. She was very patient and showed me many samples until I found what I liked. She kept us informed on the progress of the order and when there was any delay. I am very satisfied with the result, so satisfied that we ended up ordering blinds for my husbands office that he had been thinking about for a few years and he loves them. I was looking for custom drapes in my dining room since I bought my house in June , last year . I checked online and consulted few companies but I was not convinced and satisfied with their offerings . Finally I met Susan in Dec.2020 . I was really impressed with her presentation of portfolio and the work she has done in the past . I liked her approach and admired her patience to listen to my needs. She well understood what I was looking for and suggested drapery options accordingly. The other great reason to work with Susan – she provided ample of choice in curtain rods design , which was missing in many other companies I consulted before. After we signed the deal , she was very professional and kept me posted about the progress of my project .Considering , it’s COVID times where demand and supply was in chaos , it was indeed necessary to have the regular update of my order . She kept her promise and delivered the drapes within agreed timeframe . I just loved the final product -the fabric ,texture , neatness and I would say over all quality of drapes were very impressive . Installation was neat too. The beautiful sheer drapes have changed the look of my dining room completely . They have brightened the room and brought that needed life in it . Now my dining room simply looks more than perfect to host my guests and enjoy meals . I selected Sheer curtain as they provide privacy without blocking the light . The fabric suggested by Susan considering my furniture and other details was indeed the right choice . I’m super thrilled and feel proud to see the transformation of my formal dining room.

Susan gave great design ideas for my windows. I highly recommend her. She kept me updated on the schedule for delivery and installation. Customer service is highly professional and friendly. I have used her previously and I would use her services again.

When I was looking to have custom drapes made for my home, I literally called a dozen places to inquire about having the work done. It wasn’t until I spoke with Susan that I felt confident that I had found the right woman and the right company to do the job. Upon meeting Susan and explaining to her what I was looking for, it became clear that Susan was highly knowledgeable about drapery making and that she strived for perfection in the work that she took on. Susan kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and now that my drapes have been installed, I can confirm that Susan delivered on providing the highest quality work I have seen in my many years of installing custom drapes throughout the various different homes that I have lived in. I firmly believe that Susan’s understanding of the projects that she takes on and the craftsmanship and the quality that Susan turns out for her customers is nothing short of the very best. I am a paying customer and I have not received anything in return for my review. I am merely passing along my personal experience from my work with Susan and I cannot recommend her enough!! Our clubhouse underwent a sizable renovation this summer and we worked with Susan/Gailani Designs to design several new window cornices and draperies to complement the space. Susan was a pleasure to work with. She always showed up on time for our consultations, and was knowledgeable, responsive, and pleasant throughout the months-long process. Her customer service was excellent and any unforeseen problems that arose were dealt with quickly and efficiently. A combination of COVID-related ordering and shipping issues created a longer delay than we would have liked in completing the project, but Susan took every reasonable opportunity she could to minimize delays and keep us informed throughout. Her installation staff were detailed and meticulous, and we were happy with how everything looked on completion. Thank you, Susan.

Susan literally made me cry…tears of joy. I know this may seem like a strange reaction, but let me explain! As a person with an arts background, I tend to be a bit “eclectic” in my tastes. I love color and use it often to express my joie de vivre. I was looking for some new window treatments and searched online to find someone who exudes creativity and found Susan. Susan and I spent quite a bit of time talking about the artistic vision I had. When she returned with ideas and fabrics, she pulled out one piece of fabric that literally had me in tears! Somehow, Susan took EXACTLY what my thoughts were and turned them into an incredible interpretation. Susan created a joyful, bright mood for my office where I do some pretty tough work. In addition, she created the most beautiful, tranquil, watercolor infused treatments for our master bedroom as well!!! I cannot recommend Susan and her amazing personality enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
